Bought this for my toddler and the waffle texture is so soft against her skin, no itching complaints at all. It's held up through several washes without pilling, which surprised me for something this lightweight.

The waffle texture is such a nice touch—it gives the top a little extra visual interest without being scratchy on my daughter's skin. This Woodford color is even prettier in person, and it's held up perfectly through several washes so far.

The waffle knit texture is soft right out of the wash and my daughter didn't complain once about it scratching her arms. Only gripe is the sleeves run a bit long on her, though she'll grow into them.
